How we Register a Patient
If you want to register with a particular doctor or practice please ask at the desk. If you just want to register with any doctor in the building we will allocate you to the doctor taking on patients that week. The practices taking on patients rotate every week.
Patients new to the practice area are asked to complete a questionnaire to give us basic details until their full records are sent from their previous practice.
We like all new patients to have a health check with the Practice Purse or Health Care Assistant. She will go through the questionnaire and review any past and present health problems and ensure that nothing is missed.
APPOINTMENTS -RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
OF THE PATIENT
ROUTINE appointments are booked every 10 minutes. Pressure on appointments is great,
therefore please cancel as soon as possible if you are unable to attend. If you are more
than 10 minutes late you may be asked to make another appointment. If you feel you may
need more than 10 minutes please ask for a longer appointment.
Depending upon the circumstances, 5 minute urgent appointments are available every day.
Please telephone the surgery AFTER 8 AM AND BEFORE 9AM.
