Qualified St Mary’s Hospital Medical School, London,1971.
Has an interest in eyes having taken the Diploma of Opthalmology after spending time at King's College Hospital and Moorfields. Is also interested in ear nose and throat problems, substance misuse (drugs and alcohol) and in mental health problems, particulary depression.
Training doctors
Wellington Square Medical Centre has a long-standing tradition of providing facilities as a training practice for doctors going into general practice. GP registrars are attached for 4 -12 months. They are fully qualified doctors and will have real experience in hospital and in some cases also in general practice. After qualifying, the full training to be a GP is at least 4 years, making 9 years in total. If any patient would rather see their own doctor, please tell the receptionist.
